MANRRS Annual Career Fair and Training Conference

The organization, Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS), was founded in 1986 as a support group for minority students in agricultural programs on the campuses of 19th century Land Grant colleges.

MANRRS is a national society that welcomes membership of people of all racial and ethnic group participation in agricultural and related sciences careers.  As part of its outreach mission, MANRRS provides ongoing networking and professional development activities for its members.

The best opportunity for networking occurs at the ANNUAL CAREER FAIR AND TRAINING CONFERENCE.  Each spring, the MANRRS conference brings hundreds of people together to discuss issues of interest and concern regarding diversity in agriculture and related areas.

The 2010 event will be the 25th Annual MANRRS Career Fair and Training Conference.  It will take place March 24-27, 2010 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida.

In addition to workshop sessions and keynote addresses by prominent individuals, the conference will conduct a career fair where employers from agricultural and natural resources industries and government meet with students and young professionals to discuss internship and full-time employment opportunities.

For more information about the conference, go to www.manrrs.org/upcoming_conference.aspx.

By providing such networking opportunities for students, MANRRS is indeed changing the face of agriculture across the country and the world.
